How Guestpulse Works
Guestpulse acts as a central hub for your hospitality data. We take raw, often messy data from your Property Management Systems (PMS) and transform it into clear, actionable insights.
Here is a high-level view of our data journey:
1. Ingestion
We connect directly to your systems (like Opera, Mews, or others) to securely pull your data. This happens automatically and regularly, ensuring you always have the latest information.
2. Cleaning
Raw data is often inconsistent. One system might say “USA”, another “U.S.”, and another “United States”. We standardize everything into a common format so that “USA” always means “United States”. We also fix common errors, like formatting phone numbers or correcting obvious typos.
3. Processing
This is where the magic happens. We don’t just copy your data; we enhance it through a pipeline of smart processes:
- Metric Calculation: We calculate key numbers like booking windows and length of stay.
- Guest Matching: We identify duplicates to create a single “Golden Profile” for each guest.
- Loyalty Analysis: We analyze the guest’s history to determine their lifetime value and loyalty status.
- Value Replacement: We apply your specific business rules to ensure data consistency.
4. Reporting & Insights
