This glossary defines the key metrics and reports available in Guestpulse. All our reports are generated from Processed Data, meaning they benefit from the cleaning and guest matching processes described in the Understanding Our Data section.
Why This Matters
Because we use Processed Data:
- Guest Counts are Accurate: We count unique guests, not just bookings. If a guest stays three times, they are counted as one loyal guest, not three strangers.
- Revenue is De-duplicated: We ensure revenue isn’t double-counted, even if the source system sends updates multiple times.
- Data is Standardized: You can compare performance across different properties even if they use different PMS codes, because we’ve translated them all to a common standard.
Report Types
Booking Rooms Report
Detailed breakdown of room bookings, including status, revenue, and guest details.
Daily Report
A daily snapshot of key performance indicators (KPIs) like Occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room).
Guest Loyalty Report
Insights into repeat guests, their spending habits, and stay frequency. This report relies heavily on our Guest Matching logic.
Pickup Report
Tracks the pace of bookings over time, helping you understand demand trends and forecast future performance.
